So i have been trying to hold off on typing a blog about this up coming election but i cant hold off any longer! First when i heard that there was going to be another election I thought waste of money and I wont really notice it in everyday life. Well the first part I still feel is true in that I have limited hopes that there is going to be a majority and we are going to be in the same place as last time but 310 million dollars in the hole!! The next part about me not really going to notice it around in everyday life is completely wrong! I have never seem so many dam signs in my life! Driving down main street cranbrook yesterday was ridicules!! Sign everywhere!! The parties always seem to make an issue out of the environment when it comes to the election so why dont we hold the Bloc, NDP,Liberal and Greens accountable for filling are land fills with all these signs! Most of them are large plastic bags of plastic signs that are going to end up in landfills all over Canada! I have been somewhat listening to each parties election promises and some are just totally out to lunch! Let start with the Liberal education plan, as a student myself it sounds all good and fine to give me a $1000 per year for 4 years! Wait where is this coming from tho...... oh ya an increase in corporate taxes! Anyone with a grade 10 business sense knows that this is completely crazy! Corporation are living things run by a large number of people, these people know how to work the system and move money around in order to avoid taxes! By keeping taxes down for corporation this will increase the number of jobs and the number of higher paying jobs = more money in peoples pockets to pay for there kids education! More then 1000 per year to! Next is the NDP, well these guys are totally crazy and have no business sense what so ever! I dont even really want to talk about it cause its so crazy what they propose. I guess you can say what ever you like when you have never been in power! As for the green i have little to no respect for Ms. May after he freak out about the debate! Get a seat then we will talk! If we where to let her in my the the Cristian party and all other small parties throughout Canada.
